Kellan Group Plc, previously known as Berkeley Scott Group Plc, is an AIM listed recruitment business operating across a wide range of functional disciplines and industry sectors. In January 2007, two of the staffing industry's most experienced operators, Tony Reeves (Computer People, Office Angels, Hot Group) and John Bowmer (ex CEO and Chairman of Adecco), took a controlling stake in Berkeley Scott, which for over 20 years has been a leading national recruitment organisation operating in the Hospitality and Leisure sector.
Their intention from the outset is to utilise Kellan Group as a platform for the acquisition and development of other premium brands within the currently fragmented recruitment sector. In September 2007, the company secured its first significant acquisition and added 2 major recruitment businesses to the Group, Quantica and RK. Already Kellan Group has the capability and resource to recruit professionals into Finance, Information Technology, Supply Chain & Procurement, Retail, Manufacturing, Hospitality and Leisure and Human Resources.
